These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the MIDTOWN ROLEPLAY website, FiveM game servers, Discord community, in-game systems, and related services operated by our team.
By accessing, connecting to, registering with, or participating in MIDTOWN ROLEPLAY, you agree to follow these Terms, applicable server rules, and the requirements of relevant third-party platforms. If you do not agree, discontinue use of our services.
Agreement to these terms
Welcome to MIDTOWN ROLEPLAY (“MIDTOWN,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms apply when you access or use our website, FiveM servers, Discord community, in-game systems, or related services operated by our team.
By participating, you agree to comply with these Terms, our applicable server rules, and the requirements of relevant third-party platforms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of our services.
Eligibility & account responsibility
You may use MIDTOWN ROLEPLAY only if you meet the minimum age requirements of the relevant platforms and applicable law.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your accounts and credentials.
- Providing accurate information when required for legitimate server operations.
- All activity reasonably attributable to your account.
- Ensuring your use of our services complies with applicable law and third-party platform rules.
You must not impersonate another player, staff member, public figure, or MIDTOWN ROLEPLAY representative in a misleading or fraudulent manner.
Nature of the service
MIDTOWN ROLEPLAY is a community-operated roleplay environment designed to provide interactive gameplay and community experiences through FiveM.
Access to the server, accounts, characters, in-game assets, progression, and related features is subject to these Terms and service availability.
We may modify, suspend, reset, restrict, or discontinue features, resources, characters, or server operations when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, balancing, technical reasons, community management, or other legitimate operational purposes.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent character progression, or the continued existence of any particular feature.
Roleplay conduct & community standards
All players are expected to participate fairly and respectfully. The following conduct is prohibited:
- Cheating, exploiting bugs, using unauthorized modifications, or gaining an unfair gameplay advantage.
- Using unauthorized scripts, injectors, cheats, or tools that interfere with server integrity.
- Harassment, targeted abuse, threats, hate-based conduct, or other serious misconduct.
- Metagaming, powergaming, combat logging, or other violations defined by our server rules.
- Exploiting duplication glitches, economy systems, or unintended gameplay mechanics.
- Advertising unrelated servers or services without authorization.
- Impersonating staff or attempting to deceive administrators.
- Sharing confidential staff communications, private player information, or restricted administrative material without authorization.
- Attempting to disrupt, damage, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our systems.
- Evading an active ban or other restriction through alternate accounts or other methods.
Additional roleplay-specific rules may be published separately. Players are responsible for reviewing and following the rules in effect for the services they use.
Staff authority & enforcement
MIDTOWN ROLEPLAY administrators and authorized moderators may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action based on the available evidence and applicable server rules.
Depending on the circumstances, enforcement may include:
- Verbal or written warnings.
- Removal of in-game items, currency, or progression obtained through abuse.
- Temporary suspension or temporary bans.
- Permanent bans.
- Restrictions on Discord, applications, or other community services.
- Removal from staff positions or other privileges.
- Referral to the relevant platform or appropriate authority where warranted.
Serious violations may result in immediate action without a prior warning. We may consider the severity of the conduct, available evidence, prior history, risk to the community, and whether the conduct was repeated.
We aim to enforce our rules fairly, but do not guarantee that every moderation decision will be preceded by a hearing or publicly disclosed.
Appeals & disputes
Players may submit ban appeals or moderation complaints through the official channels designated by MIDTOWN ROLEPLAY.
Appeals should contain accurate information and relevant supporting evidence. Abusive, fraudulent, or deliberately misleading appeals may be rejected or handled under our community rules.
Submitting an appeal does not automatically suspend an existing restriction. We may review decisions at our discretion and uphold, modify, or reverse them based on available information. Do not attempt to evade a ban while an appeal is pending.
Virtual items, currency & purchases
In-game currency, vehicles, properties, items, ranks, benefits, and other virtual assets are provided for use within the MIDTOWN ROLEPLAY environment, subject to applicable rules.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement, virtual assets do not represent real-world money, property, or ownership rights.
We may adjust, remove, reset, or restore virtual assets when reasonably necessary to correct errors, address exploits, rebalance gameplay, enforce rules, or respond to technical incidents.
If donations, supporter packages, subscriptions, or paid benefits are offered, the applicable purchase terms will govern the transaction, including pricing, delivery, cancellation, and refunds. Nothing in these Terms excludes any refund, consumer, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Do not make purchases based on a guarantee that the server, a particular item, or a particular benefit will remain available indefinitely.
Intellectual property & branding
Unless otherwise indicated, original website content, MIDTOWN ROLEPLAY branding, custom artwork, logos, original scripts, and other materials created for the project are owned by or licensed to the relevant rights holders.
You may not copy, redistribute, commercially exploit, modify, or represent these materials as your own without appropriate authorization, except where permitted by law or an applicable license.
Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar Games, FiveM, Cfx.re, and other third-party names, trademarks, and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
MIDTOWN ROLEPLAY is an independent community project and is not officially endorsed by, affiliated with, or operated by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive unless expressly stated by the relevant rights holder.
Third-party platforms
Our services may depend on third-party platforms, including FiveM, Cfx.re, Rockstar Games services, Discord, hosting providers, and payment processors.
Your use of those platforms is also governed by their respective terms, policies, and requirements.
We are not responsible for independent outages, account restrictions, policy changes, or actions taken by third-party providers, except to the extent responsibility cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Availability & changes to services
We may perform maintenance, update resources, change server rules, introduce features, conduct wipes, or temporarily suspend access for operational or security reasons.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant planned changes where practical. We do not guarantee advance notice in every circumstance, including emergencies, exploits, security incidents, or urgent technical issues.
We reserve the right to discontinue all or part of the project, subject to applicable law and any separate binding obligations.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MIDTOWN ROLEPLAY services are provided on an “as available” basis, without guarantees that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device or system.
We do not warrant that all bugs will be fixed, that all data will be preserved, or that every reported issue will receive a particular resolution.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or protections that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MIDTOWN ROLEPLAY and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, our services, including losses relating to gameplay progression, virtual assets, service interruptions, or third-party platform actions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury where such exclusion is unlawful, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Where liability may lawfully be limited, the applicable limitation will be interpreted only to the extent permitted by the governing law.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may be responsible for losses, claims, or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful conduct, material breach of these Terms, or infringement of another party’s rights.
This section does not impose liability for matters for which you are not legally responsible and does not restrict rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to some or all MIDTOWN ROLEPLAY services where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect the community, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, or discontinue a service.
You may stop using our services at any time.
Termination does not automatically extinguish obligations or liabilities that arose before termination, or provisions that by their nature are intended to continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published on our official website with its effective or last-updated date.
Where a change materially affects users, we may provide notice through the website or official community channels where appropriate.
Your continued use of our services after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law. Where affirmative consent is legally required, we will request it.
Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are subject to the applicable laws governing the operator of MIDTOWN ROLEPLAY and the user’s relationship with the service.
Any dispute will be handled through applicable legal procedures and, where appropriate, an attempt to resolve the issue through our official support channels.
The precise governing law, jurisdiction, and dispute-resolution provisions should be completed after the server operator’s legal location and applicable consumer protection requirements have been established. Nothing in this section removes mandatory rights available to users under applicable law.
Severability & entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms, together with applicable server rules and relevant additional purchase terms, govern your use of MIDTOWN ROLEPLAY services, subject to any separate binding agreement and applicable law.
